Troubleshootinng MaxxFan Roof Vent that Keeps Beeping

Question:

Constant beep. Pulled fuse. Checked wiring for obvious issues no issues found. Manually opened fan cover and cleaned - including moisture sensor. Installed fuse, cover closed and then constant beep reoccurred. Pulled fuse. Any ideas on what to try next?

Are you having issues with a MaxxAir MaxxFan roof vent like # MA00-04000K?

It could be an internal issue with the fan and it needs to be replaced.

Before replacing you can check a couple of things. Is it a new install? If so make sure you have the wiring correct and not reversed. The white wire should be grounded and black to 12 volt power. If the wiring is correct make sure it's getting sufficient power and the connections are good.

If both of these check out you likely have a bad circuit board.
