Boat Trailer Roller Brackets and Pal Nuts

Question:
Mine does look like a pal nut , have beat on it and tried to pry it off with big screwdriver , have tried to cut it off with chisel. Do all rollers have pal nut?

Most boat trailer bow and keel rollers do use pal nuts like # CE10801 to secure the rubber roller to the support shaft and mounting bracket. From your photo I cannot tell quite what type of set-up you have. Since most of our rollers use galvanized mounts like # CE10403G and the others shown on the other linked page it may be easier and safer to install a new roller bracket.
