How do you remove the pal nuts from the roller shaft when both are heavily rusted? Thanks

Expert Reply:
A pal nut is not re-usable, so there is no need to be overly gentle when removing it. Simply grab the nut with a pair of pliers and bend it off. Once you apply a bit of pressure, the nut will bend which will allow you to easily remove it.
We offer replacement pal nuts for a 5/8 inch roller shaft, part # CE10801.
