Question:

I have a 2016 BMW 428i Gran Coupe and would like to know which product you offer fits? The car has a kick to open feature on the hatch will this interfere also how hidden is your product once installed? I live in Toronto and would like to carry bikes with the hitch.

The hitch that is a confirmed fit for your 2016 BMW 428i Gran Coupe is the Curt # C11367, which is Class I rated and has a receiver opening of 1-1/4" x 1-1/4". As for the kick-to-open feature, there has not been an issue with other BMW's installing hitches and continuing to utilize it by aiming your foot just to the left or right of the hitch.

When it comes to how hidden the hitch is, if you take a look at the install video I've linked, you can see the hitch on a 2015 BMW 3 Series, which should give you a good idea of how it will look. It is some three inches from the receiver to the end of the bumper, and small enough that you'd have to be actively looking for a hitch to notice it.

If you are going to be carrying bikes with the Curt hitch you would need to use the Curt Trailer Hitch Support Strap, # 18050, as it is required by Curt for all non-trailer loads (such as bike racks); not using it would void the warranty. I've attached a link to a video for you which shows exactly how to use the straps. Please keep in mind that Class I hitches are limited to carrying no more than two bikes.
