Question:
I am looking to improve ride and squat when towing a 35foot Travel Trailer with my 2017 Nissan Titan Pro4x, what would you recommend? I am looking for something easy to install myself, I have been looking at the SumoSprings but dont know which ones to go with. Can you help me?

Installing a suspension enhancement system, such as the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-610-54, on your 2017 Nissan Titan will do a great job of supporting a heavy load and leveling your ride. These particular springs have a 2,800 pound capacity. The springs are a simple, no-drill installation and will replace the factory bumpstop on your Titan.
With that being said, helper springs are designed more for supporting and suspending weight that is carried in the cargo area of the vehicle itself. If the rear end squat is caused more by the tongue weight of your 35 foot travel trailer, installing a properly rated weight distribution system will be the better option. Weight distribution will distribute the tongue weight of your trailer more evenly to all axles of both your Nissan Titan and the trailer and will help to eliminate squat as well as improve your ride and reduce sway.
In order to choose a weight distribution system, you will want to determine the total tongue weight of your setup. This includes both the loaded tongue weight of your trailer along with any added cargo weight coming from behind the rear axle of your Titan. Ideally, you will want this number to fall somewhere around the middle of the tongue weight capacity range for the system you choose. I recommend using a tongue weight scale like the excellent etrailer # e99044 to verify your trailer's loaded tongue weight.
For example, the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37100ET has a tongue weight capacity of 600 to 1,000 pounds.
I have attached a link that will take you to our available selection of weight distribution systems as well as an article on the subject that you may find helpful.
