Replacement Reese Weight Distribution Head for Bars Stamped 22210

Question:

Need to know what ball mount/ replacement head to use for vintage Reese Weight Distribution/Sway Control bar. I cant find anything like it anywhere. The spring bars are stamped 22210, v-5, 750lbs and have a stepped bracket on the end that connects to the sway mechanism stamped 26130-I5k4-OCF, Rev G. The trunnion end is 4 1/2inch from end to end that goes into the replacement head.

I spoke with my contact at Reese and he confirmed that the replacement head for your Reese weight distribution system is part # RP58167. The part number you found on the bars indicates it's probably not quite old enough to be considered vintage.

I have a reese weight Distribution system 5508-A on hitch and 22210E on trunnion bars. What are the specs for this and replacement part numbers

Based on my research it appears the 22210E number indicates an 800 pound tongue weight system. The spring bars themselves are no longer available but you can use the above-mentioned Replacement Head # RP58167 along with the WD Shank # RP54970.
