Connecting 6-way Vehicle Side And Trailer Side Wiring

Question:

I have a six way connector on my RV and a matching one on the tow vehicle. If i wire both the same as the diagram the ground does not match up. Do I wire the tow vehicle side to match what is coming from the RV? Rather than math according to diagram? Thanks in advance

For your 6-way connection on your tow vehicle and your motorhome, you will want to make sure they match the attached photo. The vehicle side is labeled in the photo as is the trailer side. I gave you views from either side of each adapter. This will give you the standard 6 way wiring so your vehicle and your trailer will be compatible with other 6-way systems.
