For a trailer over 26 feet long, it is recommended to use 2 friction sway bars like the Reese Friction Sway Control Kit - Economy - by Draw-Tite, Reese and Hidden Hitch # 83660. I've attached an article that helps gives more information on this. To add a second friction sway control, you will need to use the Sway Control Tab (Weld On) # 3442.
You may want to consider using a weight distribution system with integrated sway control for a trailer this big. If you want to get a recommendation, I need to know the year, make, and model of your travel trailer.
