Expert Reply:
The diameter hitch pin for a 2-inch hitch is 5/8-inch, very close to your 9/16-inch dimension. In this size we offer a plain pin/clip # PC3, locks such as # BD580412 and anti-rattle locks such as # 63232. This anti-rattle lock works in any hollow-shank ball mount or accessory carrier to both steady it and help protect it from theft.
I linked our main pages for 2-inch hitch covers, including plain rubber covers like # 22282 and # I-728 as well as themed covers.
