The difference between the High Temperature Grease, like part # L11465, and the Marine Grease, like part # L54FR, has to do with what they are used for.
The high temperature grease is great for dry application where your trailer is not meant to be immersed in water.
The marine grease, on the other hand, is made for trailers that will be immersed in water. It provides excellent corrosion protection under severe conditions caused by saltwater and air.
They are both excellent types of grease. It's just that one is made to be used for harsher environments. If you are needing to use grease on your boat trailer, then I recommend going with the Marine Grease # L11402. Otherwise you I recommend using the High Temperature Grease # L11465.
You will want avoid mixing grease that is not the same brand or for the same purpose.
