Does the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11281 Fit on a 2013 Dodge Dart

Question:

I recently purchased a hitch reciever for my 2013 Dodge Dart. The model # that was listed to fit it is c11281. I attempted to install it today and it did not fit my vehicle. It seemed to be about 1/4inch longer than where the posts are to mount it. Can we verify that this model will fit a 2013 Dodge Dart with a Ralleye chasis? I want to install it myself, however, I know if I take it somewhere they could bend it that 1/4inch safely and make it fit. I am not interested in paying a fee for someone to install it.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11281 that you mentioned is a confirmed fit for your 2013 Dodge Dart with the Rallye chassis.

What likely happened is that it got bent during the shipping process. You can certainly try to bend it back on your own, but if you see any physical stress marks before of after bending it back, you will want to avoid using the hitch.
