Question:

Will the Curt 15409 fit with the Hellwig Big Wig Sway Bar on a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 short bed 4x4? The area Im concerned with possible conflict is where the sway bar link bracket connects to the frame. How deep is the Curt 15409? Im wondering if the deepest point of the Curt 15409 will hit that sway bar link bracket Picture is before final installation, the sway bar link bracket actually sits further forward

Based on your picture the linkage from the frame to the sway bar would be in the way for Curt trailer hitch # C15409. But not to worry because there is a hitch that accounts for a Hellwig sway bar for a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 with factory hitch. It is the TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum # TLD1102-30 and it is a beast. It has a 2-1/2 inch receiver and is rated for an astonishing 20,000 pounds gross trailer weight (30K when used with Everest weight distribution). I have linked the instructions in which you will see references to the Hellwig sway bar.

If the SuperHitch Magnum is not something you want to invest in there is another option that also works with the Hellwig sway bar. It is the SuperHitch Original # TLD1102. I have linked its instructions as well.
