Where Will The Receiver Tube Of the B&W Trailer Hitch Receiver # BWHDRH25211 Sit Under The Bumper?

Question:
I’ve recently bought the hitch bwhdrh25211 and it’s looking like when I remove the current hitch There will be a couple inch gap between my bumper and the new hitch. Can you confirm if it will sit tight to the bumper as the factory does? I’d like to keep it the same height so I don’t have to adjust every hitch that I have or buy new ones. Or is it possibly to exchange for a hitch that does?

The B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver # BWHDRH25211 is designed in a way that it will fit with or without a factory receiver. The multiple mounting points on the side plates will decide where the receiver sits. When you remove your factory receiver you will be able to bolt the cross tube in the upper hole set to have it sit where the factory receiver sits.
