Do All 2016 Ford F-150 Trucks have a Factory Plug for a Brake Controller

Hi, Hello, just watched your installation video on the brake controller in a F-150, i have a 2016 F-150 xlt, is there a way to tell if the wiring harness/plug is there- on the back of the cubby hole in the dash without taking it apart or is it in all the 2016 f-150s??? Thanks!!!

The factory connector to plug in a brake controller is in all of the 2016 Ford F-150 trucks. You will need wiring harness # 22292 to plug in a controller such as the P3 # 90195 or the P2 # 90885. I have linked a video showing an installation using this harness that should also help.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
