Which Hardware Kit Fits the Thule Frontier 668 Cargo Box

Question:
Older original? Frontier 668 roof box circa 2001/2002. One or 2 answers above says this kit will work and another says no it will not. Some mention drilling a new 7/8inch hole and then this kit will work. Can we please get the correct answer to this? Thanks,
