Question:
I am looking at purchasing an Aliner Classic, Off Road Package, with hard Dormers. I will be towing it with a 2005 Jeep Liberty diesel CRD. I want a weight distributing hitch with sway control that allows backing up. Is this the best option? Thanks

The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup when it is loaded and ready to tow. This figure also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. I attached a help article on determining tongue weight for you to check out as well. You will want the loaded tongue weight of your setup to fall right in the middle of the tongue weight range of the system you use.
Most likely your loaded tongue weight range will be closer to what the part # RP66083 has which is 400-800 lbs. The other great thing about this system is that it also has the only sway control on the market designed to fight sway before it starts. It also allows backing up. With all WD systems though you want to make sure you do not jackknife the trailer as that will put quite a bit of strain on the system.
For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
