Just want to confirm that this will fit on my 2012 jeep patriot using the kit k284200 with out any modifications?

The Detail K2 Rampage II Snowplow, part # K2RAMP8219 and Custom Mounting Brackets, part # K284200 are a confirmed fit for your 2012 Patriot. I called Detail and asked about the plow and installation kit and they said "The Patriot has this huge one piece plastic bumper cover which basically turns into a belly pan and hides everything. The lower pan bolts on a Compass and is easily removed to install the bracket."
I have attached a PDF file in a separate email that may explain how much trimming is needed to install the # K284200 mounting brackets on your Patriot.
