Hey Gary, great question. Both plows look pretty similar huh? That is because there is only one difference between them, confirmed by Agri-cover.
Agri-Cover SnowSport LT Snowplow part # SS98GV it built to be used in both the front and the rear hitch. While the Agri-Cover SnowSport 180 Snowplow part # SS78GV is only designed to be used in the rear hitch.
To make it simple, think of it like this: You’re driving your truck forward down your driveway, pushing snow in front of you like a traditional plow. That’s exactly what the SS98GV is for.
While the SS78GV is designed to drive backward to clear snow. You’re literally backing up into the snow and dragging it out behind you.
