I need some assistance please. I am trying to spec out a spindle and hub that will be holding about 8,500 pounds. I can not have through axle.

For an 8,500 lb capacity trailer, you will actually get a 10,400 lb capacity because of where the axle weights fall. For this I recommend 2 of the the Timbren Axle-Less Suspension - Spindle Only - Regular Tires - 5200 lbs, # ASR5200S01. For the hub and drum assembly, I recommend the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 5,200-lb - 7,000-lb Axles - 8 on 6-1/2 - E-Z Lube, # 42866UC3-EZ. You will also need the brake assemblies of Electric Trailer Brake Assembly - Self-Adjusting - 12" - Left Hand - 5,200 lbs to 7,000 lbs, # AKEBRK-7L-SA and also the matching right side # AKEBRK-7R-SA. Often people will only use brakes on one axle and idler hubs on the other axle like the Trailer Hub Assembly - 5,200-lb and 6000-lb Axles - 6 on 5-1/2 - E-Z Lube, # 8-213-5UC1-EZ. The braking axle is normally in the back of the dual axle trailers if they only use one braking axle.
