Possible Replacement Hub for Dexter Hub 8-133
Updated 11/15/2016 | Published 11/14/2016 >
Question:
I have a small backhoe trailer and It has dexter 5 spoke mobile home style hubs and drum brakes. I dont want to order 4 wrong complete hub assemblies and I havent taken off hubs competently yet to size up bearings or find any other numbers, but Im far enough along that I know 3 out of 4 are shot. This is a very old trailer like late 70s so if these are anywhere close to original im sure they have changed part numbers. Just wondering if anyone recognized these numbers and could at least point me in the right direction. I believe they ate 6000 lb axles and rides on 8-14.5Lt tires.

You will need to get the other bearing number from inside your current hubs before we can pick you out replacement hubs. Most likely the outer bearing you pulled is a LM67048 and the inner you have is a 25580 which would mean that the # 8-201-5UC3 would be the correct size hub and drum for you.
This hub has a bolt pattern of 6 on 5-1/2 inch and would not work with your current wheels. I attached a page that has all of the wheels and tires we offer in that bolt pattern.
