I have a 08 Nissan Titan v8 its an se I believe anyway I has the big two part mirrors and some sort a button thing on dash that says tow. My question is do I need to install the brake controller and connector? I am hauling a 16x7.5 trailer with about 7k #. If I do please send the two items part #. Thanks.

Yes you definitely need to use a brake controller to tow a 7k trailer with your 2008 Nissan Titan. We strongly recommend using a controller if the weight of the trailer is over half the weight of the towing capacity of the truck. The Tow/Haul button you have will help in other ways but it would not substitute a brake controller.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes.
The install harness needed would be the # 3050-P.
