Question:

I have ordered 4 new replacement Cradles for AcuTight system on my Thule Sonic XL. Will I need any additional hardware to attach the Cradle to AcuTight? The rep, Rose, said I do not. However, after looking over your QandA section I am a little confused. She said it just snaps into place.

I reached out to my contact at Thule to double check the parts you need. If you have the working claw grippers, then you would only need the Replacement Cradle for Thule AcuTight and Quick Grip Mounting Hardware, # TH8523387001, to attach to the claw under the crossbar of your roof rack. If you don't have the working Replacement Quick Grip Mount Assembly - Thule Ascent, Atlantis, and Force Cargo Box - Qty 1, # TH05738, then you would want to purchase both parts to secure your Thule Sonic XL Rooftop Cargo Box to the roof rack.
