Question:

Do you know of any cargo boxes that are compatible with the Thule Tracrac SR? The Tracrac crossbars are wider than usual, I think they are 4. And I would want a cargo box where the mount points are 55 inch center to center. Thanks

You are correct that the TracRac SR crossbars are wider than standard roof rack crossbars as they measure 4" wide. For your application I recommend the Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box - 22 cu ft # TH629906 which comes with mounting hardware that clamps onto standard crossbars, but you can upgrade the mounting hardware using the T-Track Adapter # TH27PQ. This allows you to mount the cargo box via the T-Slots in your TracRac SR crossbars instead of clamping around them.

The only issue with this is that the max crossbar spread for the Motion XT is 36-7/8" which is significantly less than the 55".

If you don't already have a ladder rack then another possibility is the Yakima OverHaul HD # Y01151-58 which has a lower weight capacity at 500 lbs and it doesn't have the ability to slide along the length of the bed, but it does use crossbars that have more of a standard size so you can use the Yakima SkyBox 21 # Y07337 which uses clamps and has a max crossbar spread of 42".
