Will the Swagman xtc2 accept 29 inch tires on a mountain bike in the wheel cradles?

According to my contact at Swagman a mountain bike with 29-inch wheels will fit properly on their XTC-2 hitch-mount carrier # S64670 as long as the wheels are no wider than 2-1/2-inches. Since the wheel hoops on this carrier are adjustable it can fit bikes with a wheelbase as long as 66-inches. If you like you can check your bike wheelbase by measuring the distance between the front and rear tire contact points when it is resting on the ground.
