Will this carrier fit a 2017 Ford Edge?

I checked the installation videos for the various 1-1/4-inch and 2-inch hitch sizes offered for your 2017 Ford Edge, including hitch parts # 75234, # C13234 and # 75214. Most install so that there is about 5-inches of space from the hitch pin hole to the rear edge of the bumper cover. The Swagman G10 2-Bike Platform Rack # S64682 also has 5-inches of clearance when it is empty and folded up so this rack may touch the bumper cover.

For a similar Swagman frame-mount carrier that gives more clearance you can use their Chinook 2 Bike Platform Rack # S64683 which has 6-inches of clearance or their wheel-mount Semi 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack # S64686 which has 8-inches of clearance when folded up. Like the G10, the Chinook and Semi handle up to 45-lb bikes and include locks.
