Replacement Lift Motor for Fantastic Vent in 2002 Teton 5th-Wheel Trailer

Question:

I have a 2002 Teton 5th-wheel and I need a replacement lift motor for a Fantastic Vent. The P/N is 6051-05 @ 8 RPM on my motor. It has an X-shaped handle. Is FVK-6050-80 the correct replacement motor? Thanks

According to my contact at Fantastic Vent the correct replacement lift motor to use in your vent is part # FVK6010-81, not item FVK-6050-80. The replacement motor does operate at a higher 17-RPM speed.

Since your fan is of a lower rpm and manufactured before 2014, this motor will still work, but you will need to cross the wires. For example, instead of red to red and black to black, you will need to connect the red wire to the black wire and the black wire to the red wire.

Adam, I’ve got a 2014 Tiffin MH that I need a lift vent motor as well, pulled out and it says 6051-05 also? The shape is in an oblong housing? Make any difference??
