Is the a proper replacement for the cover motor in this vent? The one I have removed is 8 RPM and I see that this one is 17rpm. Thank you.

I reached out to my contact at Fan-Tastic Vent and she said the correct replacement motor for your 12V Vent Fan # FV803350 if it was manufactured after 2014 is the 17-rpm # FVK6010-81. This does operate at a higher speed than what originally came on your assembly but will work well.

If you happen to have an older unit manufactured before 2014 that has a lower 7-rpm rating, we no longer have that part available.

First thing you will want to check is that the fan has power and is grounding properly. You can try using jumper wires to the vent wiring that are run to known ground and power to see if that works. Next, you can check the fuse of the fan to make…

Hey Colin, we do have the lift arm with part #FVK8014-05 but the only replacement lids we offer are the domed ones like #FVK1020-19.

Hi Rick, The Replacement Lift Motor #FVK6010-81 still works in Fan-Tastic vents that were made before 2014 like yours, but you'll need to cross the wires. If yours go red to red/black to black you'd just switch that up.
