Question:
I would like to add some additional white led lights for the back of my boat trailer for launching at night. How would these lights need to be wired up to only come on in reverse and what lights do you recomend?

You would need to have a reverse light circuit ran to your trailer to power reverse lights. If you have a 5-way flat or 7-way trailer connector currently then that circuit is already present. If you have a 4-way harness then you would need to install the part # 20036 on your tow vehicle to allow you to have that circuit.
The # BUL78CB is a white light that would work well for this.
For more info on trailer wiring and where to find the reverse light circuit on common trailer connectors that you may have check out the review video I attached.
For a 5-way to use you would want the part # HM47910. The fifth circuit would then need to get ran back with wire like the # 16-1-1 sold by the foot.
