Is There any Converting Needed to go from Manual Adjust Brakes to Self-Adjusting Trailer Brakes

I am getting ready to replace the brake assembly on my RV travel trailer. I am thinking of converting by brake assembly from manual adjustments to automatic. Does that work of cause any problems? The wiring looks the same.

Converting from manual adjust to self-adjusting brakes is as simple just replacing the assemblies. The self-adjusting portion of the assemblies is all self-contained and takes care of itself. The assemblies install in the exact same way too.
The part # AKEBRK-7L-SA would be the correct replacement for a 12 inch assembly rated for between 5.2k and 7k. The matching right hand side would be # AKEBRK-7R-SA.
