Do New Trailer Hubs Have to Have Matching Lug Nut Size as Old Hubs

Question:
Hi,I ordered hubs for my RV today from E Trailer.The lugs on the hubs I ordered are a size smaller than the ones that are on the rv.I was told by Emily it shouldnt make any difference because I will be getting new lug nuts with the new hubs.Is that true?Hate to get them here and have to send them back. Thans

The lug nuts are designed to thread on the studs of the hubs installed on the trailer. So if the new hubs have smaller lug nuts but they match what the hub is designed for you would be totally fine.
