Grip Tape for Use on Boat Trailer Fenders

Question:

Can you tell me if the adhesive on this product is 3M brand, and if this is a relatively waterproof/weatherproof product? Thanks.

Adhesive safety strip # NSWS is meant as a replacement for certain stair sets and would not be ideal for use on a boat trailer. The Tough Tread Strips, # EM08010, would be a better option. They do use the 3M brand adhesive and would work well on boat trailer fenders as they are weatherproof though would not classified as waterproof.
