How to Pick Out a Ball Mount for a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan with Draw Tite Hitch Installed

Question:
You recommended Ball Mount 2-3/4inch Rise or 4inch Drop, #2753, for the Draw Tite hitch on my 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. Your installation video shows the height of the hitch at 12 3/4inch from the top of the receiver tube to the ground. Are you recommending this Ball mount to be used in the 2-3/4inch rise position?

For the Draw Tite Hitch part # 75579 that has been confirmed as a fit for your 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan the suggested ball mount is the part # 2753 that you referenced. Now the best way to pick out a ball mount is to go with the one that will allow you to tow your trailer as level as possible.
You would need to measure from the bottom of your trailer coupler to the ground when the trailer is as level as possible. That number compared to the 12-3/4 inch hitch height will be the amount of rise/drop you need.
If you need 4 inches of drop or 2-3/4 inches of rise the # 2753 would be the ball mount to go with. You would then want to select the rise/drop you need from the filters to see which you would need.
