hello, is there drilling required for a hitch to carry 2 bikes What hitch is recommended for bikes only? Where does the stabilizing strap go? thanks

The Curt Class I hitch you've looked at, part # C11604 would work perfectly for carrying a bike rack and two bikes on your 2016 Honda Civic Sedan. Drilling will be required to install the hitch, but as you can see from the installation instructions that I've linked for you, the installation isn't terribly difficult.
The # 18050 stabilizing strap would hook into the gap at the top of the trunk lid, just behind the rear windshield. If you look at the video I've linked for you, you can see how the strap is used.
