Question:
I cant seem to find the plug on a 2016 Ford E450 RV? My dealer says it is under the steering shaft, and I have heard behind the dash, but I can not seem to find it? I was afraid to start popping the dash apart and break any fastener tabs with it being a brand new RV. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your 2016 RV was built on a 2015 model year Ford E450 Cutaway Van chassis. The brake controller plug will be located behind the dash in one of two places, as you can see in the photos I've provided.
Most likely, the connector will be located behind a panel on the right side of the dash, as shown in the first set of photos. You'll need the # 3040-P brake control wiring harness.
