Question:
My 2014 Durango did not come with the factory installed Trailer Hitch. I am hoping that they at least wired the car for a hitch. Were do you suppose the location of the wiring harness will be located? Thanks in advance.

Good news, I can help you locate your wiring harness if indeed your Durango came with one.
According to your owners manual you may have a 4 way or 7 way on your Durango. If you did, it would be mounted around the bumper area. It looks like it was to be included if the "Prep package" was installed, which is unlikely in your case if you have no trailer hitch.
The correct wiring harness for your 2014 Dodge Durango to have a 7 pole is the # TK22113. If you wanted to have a 4 pole the harnesses for the Durango, the harness you will need is # 118617. Both harness' are easy to install with a plug and play connector behind your taillight assemblies.
If you are in need of a hitch too the one I would recommend for you is the Curt # C13182. This Class III 2 inch hitch has a tongue weight of 750lbs and a 5,000lb towing capacity.
I have linked you to the both the custom wiring and trailer hitch pages for your 2014 Dodge Durango for your convenience.
