which connector goes to which

Helpful Expert Reply:
To install the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56158, the white connectors will plug into your vehicle's existing factory wiring connectors. The connectors you will want to access are behind the driver's side rear access panel in the cargo area.
Once you have access behind the rear trim panel, you will want to find the connectors for the vehicle taillight wiring. Typically these connectors are blue, but they may be a different color in your vehicle. The taillight wiring connectors may be located further up in the trim panel. These connectors will be similar to those on the Curt wiring harness.
There is a locking tab on the taillight wiring connector that will need to be disengaged to pull the connectors apart. You will then want to match the connectors from the Curt wiring harness to their mating connector on the vehicle. As these connectors T into the existing wiring, they will only fit together with the vehicle connectors one way, like a plug and socket.
I have attached a photo of the connector ends of the Curt wiring harness, as well as the installation instructions of the wiring harness.
