Question:
i have a 2012 CRV, leased. I need to know what hitch I can put on without drilling any holes. I know I need to study my lease and see if I void any agreements. I dont need to haul much weight, either a very small trailer or a bike hitch.

We do have many trailer hitch options for your 2012 Honda CR-V that do not require drilling, however, they do require cutting the underbody panel to install a trailer hitch. One way around cutting the underbody panel would be to completely remove the underbody panel and then replace the panel when the lease is up. One thing to keep in mind when leaving the underbody panel off of the vehicle is that the underbody panel does contain some insulation, so you may notice a little more noise inside the vehicle.
I have attached the installation instructions as well as an installation video of the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch, # C13119, that you referenced. The trimming is required for all Class III trailer hitches that are available for your CR-V.
If you find that trimming the underbody panel will not void any agreement on your lease, then you will also need a wiring harness if you plan on towing. For this, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Wiring Harness, # C56158. This is a plug-in harness that does not require any cutting or splicing into your vehicles tail light circuits.
You will also need a ball mount, hitch ball and pin and clip. For this we offer the Ball Mount Kit, # EBMK4. This kit includes the ball mount, pin and clip, an interchangeable hitch ball set and a convenient storage bag to keep your items out of the elements when not in use.
