Stromberg Carlson Ladder fit on 2009 Lance 825 Truck Camper

Question:

My Lance dealer sells a ladder for $165. Id rather go with the Stromberg. It is longer than needed, but other QandA says it can be cut down. The dealer warned that the Lance 825 is built with specific support locations for the ladder they sell, and you cannot necessarily just screw a universal ladder on as the fiberglass exterior alone will not support it. Will the Stromberg work on my Lance 825? Thanks.

The Stromberg Ladder part # LA-401 is a universal ladder designed to fit as many RVs as possible. If Lance says that you can only install one of their ladders I wouldn't recommend you go against that recommendation as it could void warranties.

I am sure there is a way you could install the # LA-401 on your RV if you really wanted to though.

If the supports on your RV are 13 inches apart the mounts of this ladder should be able to line up with them pretty easily.
