Distance Between Hangers When Installing Slipper Springs

Question:
Its not clear from any information posted on your website, where the hanger should be in relation to the slipper part of the slipper springs you sell. I understand how they work, etc. Im going to use e39SR springs with this kit. In the specs section you have several dimensions listed, A-D. Do I split the difference between A and B ie centered for the spring to ride in a unloaded state, ie on jack stands on the touch point of the pad the slipper spring will ride on? Or do I bias the hanger 1 direction or another? There must be a suggested dimension for that.

Expert Reply:
The B dimension on a slipper spring is the distance that should be between the hanger and the mounting point on a slipper spring equalizer.
For example the part # e39SR that you referenced should have a distance of 24-7/8 inches between the first hanger and the equalizer mounting point.
Since equalizers can have different lengths there isn't a standard dimension with this spring.
Let's use hanger kit part # AP202-H238 as an example.
The first hanger of the hanger kit part # AP202-H238 will need to be 29-1/2 inches from the center hanger, the rear hanger will then need to be 29-7/8 inches from the rear hanger to install the Slipper Spring kit part # SP-161275
