A stiff or sagging suspension makes every bump feel worse. This 6-leaf slipper spring flexes to absorb road shock and smooth out rough rides. Built for 8,000-lb trailer axles, each spring carries 4,000 lbs and keeps the trailer level on uneven ground. The 29-1/2" long, 2" wide spring uses a hook-end design that lets the axle move with the road instead of transferring every jolt through the frame.
When you’re hauling weight, weak springs aren’t an option. Each of the six 3/8" thick steel leaves works together to hold heavy loads steady mile after mile. The steel construction resists flex fatigue, keeping the suspension firm and predictable. You get a solid connection between axle and frame that cuts down on bounce and sway, even when your trailer is loaded to capacity.
Getting the right fit keeps the suspension moving freely. This spring includes a pre-installed nylon bushing with a 9/16" inner diameter and an 11/16" eye diameter without the bushing. It’s sized for standard suspension bolts so the eye pivots smoothly without binding. The hook-end slips into a rear hanger or equalizer for simple, dependable articulation.
Keeping both sides balanced prevents uneven wear and tracking issues. Replacing leaf springs in pairs ensures the trailer stays aligned and rides level. The new springs match each other in tension and length, protecting tires, hangers, and equalizers from premature wear. It’s a straightforward way to restore that stable, confident towing feel.

The installation was fairly straight forward and the springs bolted right up. I do feel like the springs are a bit weak for 8k springs, I've hauled heavier loads with 7k suspension with more clearance between the axles and frame. But I've had no issues with the suspension thus far.
Spring and related hardware were exactly as described and fit perfectly. A year later and no complaints.
