Reese offers two sway control brackets, part # RP26003 that fits over a 2-inch ball mount and part # RP26005 that fits on a 1-1/4-inch Class II ball mount. Neither of these has a 1-1/4-inch diameter hitch ball hole. Part # RP26003 has a 1-inch ball hole and part # RP26005 has a 3/4-inch ball hole.

The reason the hitch ball holes in these items are these sizes and not the larger 1-1/4-inch diameter you're asking about is that the friction type sway control devices that are used with these, such as # 17200, are not intended for towing set-ups that would use a heavy-duty 2-5/16-inch hitch ball.

High gross towing weight (GTW) systems use built-in sway control along with their weight distribution function. For example, the Curt TruTrack # C17500 is a weight distribution system rated for GTW up to 10,000-lbs and that uses springs bars that also serve as sway prevention.
