Question:
The towed vehicles front wheels turn sideways and drag when we make a sharp turn like in to a gas station, and turn again. We have to get out and straighten the steering wheel a couple of times to get it to all straighten out. Any ideas? Bolts too loose, too tight Chevy silverado pulling a Toyato Tacoma using tow bar

Sounds like your towbar isn't sitting perfectly level and because it is nose down it wants to pull the front of the wheels of your tow vehicle the wrong direction around corners.
If you are using a hitch mounted tow bar then you would need a high low adapter like part # RM-076. Or if you have a ball mount mounted tow bar you would need the correct drop ball mount to tow it level.
I attached a help article on selecting the correct ball mount plus a link to a page that has all of the high low adapters we carry.
