Question:

Hello, I have a 2013 Ford F250 Diesel and will be towing 5-6 tons on a 4000lb deckover trailer. I know the interior corners of the 2 1/2 factory hitch are rounded. Will I have any problems using the C48348 or the RP45294?

It is hard to say, but you would have a better chance of getting the part # RP45294 to install in your 2-1/2 inch Ford hitch than the Curt # C48348 since the Reese has rounder corners.

We have seen a few of the Ford 2-1/2 inch hitches and some of them have rounder corners than others so it's hard to say for certain if an accessory will fit them. We have seen some Ford hitches have no problem accepting 2-1/2 inch accessories and others that won't take any.
