Would a Rear Skid Plate Have to Get Removed to Install Hitch on FJ Cruiser
Published 08/28/2015 >
Question:
If I purchase this hitch for my 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser Trail Teams edition, will I have to remove the rear oem skid plate to install?? If so, will any of the other two models you offer be capable of installing without removal of the oem rear skid plate?

There's no mention of having to remove any skid plates to install the Curt hitch part # 13367 on your 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser so the best recommendation I can make for you since it sounds like the skid plate you have isn't standard equipment is to check out the install video and pictures I attached and compare them to your skid plate to see if you would have to remove it.
