What is the Distance Between Weld Stops on Stromberg-Carlson Landing Gear Set LG-1
Updated 08/11/2020 | Published 07/08/2015 >
Question:
what is the distance between the clips or extrusions on this jack?, the distance between on my existing landing gears is 17 1/2 inches, top of top clip to bottom of bottom clip, this is important because my u clips are welded on and replacement landing gears need to be the same. My existing gears that failed were made by Fulton, any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

The weld stops on the legs of Stromberg-Carlson landing gear set # LG-1 are indeed 17-1/2 inches measured from the top of the top one to the bottom of the bottom one. If you look at the diagram I have included you will see that they have measured from the top of one to the top of the other and that is 16-1/2 inches. Since the weld stops are 1 inch tall the measurement is 17-1/2 inches just like what you need!
