Troubleshooting Working Lippert Powered A-Frame Jack Manual Override that Feels Stuck

Question:

I have an LCI jack on my travel trailer dont know the model number. Electrically it works fine - it extends and retracts without a problem. When I attempt to use the hand crank, I cannot get it to turn. It seems to be frozen. What is the most likely problem and does it have a fix? Thanks.

I called our tech contact at Lippert and he said that the manual override of the older style A-frame jacks that they carry do not like to operate if the power source of the jack is active. Basically if the jack is functioning fine with the switch it will not want to operate with the override. You can try disconnecting the power source to see if it will function.
