What is the difference between a Max air cover and and Max air rain cover? MA00-955003

The MaxxAir Vent Covers part # MA86JR and part # MA00-955003 both are just used to cover the vent to protect it from the elements. However, the MaxxAir FanMate part # MA00-955003 is designed for the high power fan models because it does allow almost complete air flow. The vent cover is taller so it allows the fan to open almost completely and restricts only 5% of the air flow. The FanMate RV Vent Cover can be used on a standard fan as well but if you have a high powered fan this is the cover that is recommended.

The MaxxAir II RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover part # MA86JR is designed for standard roof vents and does not allow for as much air flow because it is not as big as the FanMate cover. They are both designed to protect the vents from outside elements though. Some people call them roof vent covers and others call them rain covers.
