Hello. Our 2006 Toyota 4Runner v6 has the tow package. Is a wiring harness required?

If your 2006 Toyota 4Runner came with a factory 7-Way trailer connector as part of the tow package then you would need wiring harness # 3040-P to install the P3 brake controller # 90195. I have included a link to a video showing how a brake controller installs on a similar vehicle.
If your 4Runner did not come with a factory trailer connector you will start by installing a 4-Way (unless the vehicle already has one) # 119178KIT. Then you would need installation kit # ETBC7. I have included some links that show and explain the ETBC7 installation.
