Do you need the pressure switch or will the brake light switch work for the notification?

Here's how you will know if the SMI Air Pressure Stop Light Switch Kit # SM99629 is needed when using the SMI Air Force One supplemental braking system. With you engine turned off on your vehicle go out and press the brake pedal of the vehicle. If the brake lights come on then you don't need this switch. If they only come on when the vehicle is on the part # SM99629 would be needed.
