Should Equalizer Sit Level on Tandem Axle 5 Ton Trailer

Question:
We have a tandem axel 5 ton trailer and are not sure if the equalizer is on the correct position. Right now the back is up but werent sure it is should be level with the front. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! It is a ridgeline 1996.

For the most part the axles/equalizer should be level provided the tires and trailer are level.
From the picture that you provided, the angle of the equalizer isn't something that I would be concerned about since the rear tires are up on a piece of lumber and not sitting level.
